EcoVillage at Ithaca is a community located in the Town of Ithaca in upstate New York. Over the past 20 years, EcoVillage at Ithaca has evolved into a working model for other communities around the globe, as a result of residents’ commitment to maintaining a high quality of life, conserving resources, and balancing privacy within a vibrant community. Welcome Home is an online resource funded by the EPA Climate Showcase Communities Program to tell the story of communities like EcoVillage at Ithaca – a community that works – to assure a high quality of life for people in balance with our planet.
